Unsolved Case

Personally one of my favorites works, after a tough breakup the only way I could ease the stress was to write this poem. That is why it means so much to me :)

When you said it was over I thought that meant my world

During that time I was in a foetal position and curled

For weeks time went slow, every second was thinking of you

Wondering what made you change your mind out of the blue

We were great for each other that’s what everyone said

We would do anything to make sure (this) wouldn’t drop dead

If perfect were possible we seemed pretty damn close

But one wrong turn and that was the lethal dose

It killed our relationship and I still can’t solve this case

I want to love you but I can’t even look you in the face

I did nothing wrong yet you blame me for everything

So much for jewellery shopping and a wedding ring
