Love hurts

First poem ever that was for fun and not for school grade. It was intended for my girlfriend at the time ... but she never got to see it.

Hit hard by love is it so hard to see

Got struck so bad where is the referee

Got punched by cupid and he knocked me out in a fight

Woke up to find something beautiful in my sight

I thought I was in heaven but I really was on earth

I wanted to praise her parents for such a beautiful birth

I asked her what is your name n she said Mary

That ran through my mind all day it became weary

When I see you smile my stomach gets butterflies

I could spend an eternity looking into your eyes

You've help so many people, so many lives impacts

When I’m with u my heart skips beat and does jumping jacks

Thanks a lot cupid I’m in real big pain

I got feelings for this girl that I can’t restrain

Look cupid u left me a bruise so hard it is easy to see

For a girl name Mary and she is the one for me

Ignore grammar, it was my first poem so there wasn't any effort put into poetic styling. I just wanted to rhyme.
