Sand

sand

we fell through the cracks

we shifted time

destroyed empires

knawed away at buildings

slithered through dunes

gritty and dry

yet were so small

fit in the palm of your hand

insignificant yet powerful

streching out over miles and miles

we populate the seas

swallowing quick

yet were not sand 

we are humanity
