Hope & Faith

This is a piece very dear to my heart...

I wanted my heart to secrete honey 

I wanted the veins in my body to fill with the sweetness

I wanted Patience' reigns to break with the weakness

And with the speed of the bow's release to be depleted by Cupid's arrow 

I wanted Love at the marrow

…But, it didn't happen that way

 

The earth continuously spins on its axes

 

The earth continuously spins on its axes but none of us can feel it

So Who am I to will it

To be a Sunny day?

The trees still need the rain and the leaves still need to blow and the earth needs to replenish 

I cannot ask for a cloudless sky and I cannot get mad

and cry when I don't get my sunshine

And I cannot expect the earth to rotate to the pace of my heart 

I should have known that from the start

 

especially with my indecision

 

I once stood for my own wishes instead of God's vision

and I continued to speak

it was my turn
