Mentality Unstable

Mentality Unstable

A Poem by BrokenWingedPhoenix

Wandering alone through twist and turns,

Wading through solitude’s perversity of mind.

Sinking again ‘cause these old bones are sore,

Swimming through madness, it’s melting inside.

No matter how joyful the outside appears,

I’m sinking and spinning a soul full of darkness.

The world around is constipated with greed,

Swashed against shores just waiting to bleed.

I’m disgusted and angry with nowhere to go,

This hate, this RAGE, consuming my soul.

The knife is my enemy, but how I adore it,

Drawing me closer, invading...I implore it.

It’s twisting and turning like yesterday’s wash,

CONSUMING AND BURNING, bleaching my thoughts.

The voices, THE VOICES please take them away,

Suicide nation with nothing to say.
