Rehtom

A Poem by BrokenWingedPhoenix

Waterlogged journal of a wayward soul…

Weary and lost, with nowhere to go.

There she sat simmering and stewing in glory,

Teeming with her own vile and frantic revulsion.

Corrupt and depraved, fool of debauchery, always misbehaved…

Denial of responsibility, passing of all blame.

Unapologetic of harm afflicted and self-contained,

A twinge of pleasure lies within her fair façade.

Be wary of her beauty, vapid and untrue,

Oh, you industrious prevaricator, manipulator of men,

A soul of callous wickedness, one like no other…layered in sin.

You great provocateur, destroyer of life…

Pain you have given, a carcass full of strife.
