Joyful Way

Joyful Way

A Poem by BrokenWingedPhoenix
"

I wrote this for my husband, we celebrated ten years together on September 29, 2015. I usually do not write like this, it was planned as a poem full of love; but I think it sounds more like a sick kid

"

Ten years ago I met you,

Through electrocuted lines.

Entwined in love we have been,

Since two thousand zero zero five.

Your strength is like no other,

Yet fearfully I run.

Each time we fight through sorrow…

And this love locked loaded gun.

Death is but a pardon,

Forlorn we shall abide.

Playing till the morrow,

Our hearts now open wide.

Myself I have found…deep within your soul,

Your fiction is my fantasy, my yearning chaperon.

Let no man tear asunder…this gift that God has chosen.
