Babylon

Babylon

A Poem by BrokenWingedPhoenix
"

Miscellaneous words of the day. Thanks for stopping by.

"

Thy name is decrepit crud.

Reveling in perverseness of decayed knowledge.

Suckling the teet of lady death,

Enraptured in her sweet embrace.

How cheerfully you exploit the lands,

Creating the wages of wailing bondage.

Hatred and agony are Thy name.

Decapitation and consolidation,

The creation of a patronage proclamation.

Forever tithing, yet words falling…

Never on your lips, nor near the heart.

Fallen…Thy name is w***e,

Forever sprawling, you are the offering…

Spread out on a nation’s shore.

Faux heroes you breed,

Bathing in blood and bone…herewith this nation…

A simple clone.
