Alpha and Omega

Alpha and Omega

A Poem by BrokenWingedPhoenix

Ships sail wantonly ‘cross the fallen horizon,

Sashaying on fields of molten glass.

Towering goliaths with light shown bright,

Always guiding and plotting the way.

Lights navigating; on turbulent water,

Wayside faring…never wary, eternally following the deafening night.

Continually fleeing, yet searching for blessed tranquility.

Wafting, waiting, never sojourning…

Passing ships, lest danger neighing,

Following their Creation…the thrice risen sacred Light.

Very nice use of words. I like the sea a lot. The poem took me back to the sea and the journey. Your words left many things for the reader to ponder. Thank you for sharing the outstanding poetry.
