Mom of the YearA Poem by BrokenWingedPhoenix---none---Years of agony, sorrow and tears, Clouds of vehemence forthcoming with fear. Hate-filled symmetry luminescent with vanity, Heart full of obscurity, abhorrence and animosity. Granting love as reward, yet it is punishment, Maintaining detachment at the sake of the self. Harming one’s spawns out of selfish yearning, Causing aching, meandering, and burning. What’s left behind lingers, with the sting of constant anguish. Adoration and humanity, you do not discern, You self-elected mom of the year. © 2015 BrokenWingedPhoenixFeatured Review
