Depression of a Rejected SoulA Poem by BrokenWingedPhoenixTo be honest, I do not like this poem but I "suffer" from depression and other mental "disorders" and poetry is a way to escape. Maybe others will relate to this, maybe not. There are days when I want to stop. Some days I want to run. Other days I want to sob. The hours when I desire to die. The sadness of oppression, stains the beating heart. The sadness of rejection, traumatization of the very soul. The sadness of domination; restraining the entrance
withholding the growth. When you desire to be heard… Depression is swimming in silt. Depression is running through quick sand. Depression is a heavy hand pressing you under. When all you want is to be dead… The days are of heavy heart. The days allow you to fall apart. Thus far the days are a collection of scars. Thus far the days are building, stressful and far. © 2015 BrokenWingedPhoenixAuthor's Note
