Eulogy

The Lovely Aunt M.-

A woman of class, grace and strength
Someone I love and admire
And aspire to be
Living my life accordingly

Kind, eloquent, loving
Nothing coming between her and family
Her philosophy be nice or stay silent
A firm disciplinary yet fair and nurturing

Her motto, Mi casa es su casa."
Her smile a fire place and warm hearth
Illuminating each room and kindling each heart

The light in her eyes surpassed only
by the luminosity of her spirit
An angel in my mind
Touching many souls indefinitely

Imprinting, guiding, teaching
others to fly
Her emotions genuine and pure
Withstanding the test of time

Her family feeling warm and safe
Melding into the contour
of her embrace

Single vibrant "Red Amore"
Blooming rose in all your glory
Encased love carved in stone

A crown of thorns made sure
Bleeding hearts would mend
Pure love transcends our mortal existence

The pain of life is fleeting
One true constant remains
The beauty of the spirit
