Reputation Slayers

About cliques and gossip

"
Reputation Slayers-

Clicky, clicky, cliques
Using gossip as a pick
Pick axes raised up high
Incensed mob litters skyline

Never in question why?
This distraught beast is so angry
He's a madman, he needs to die
This man is crazy!

Unjust accusations reeling
Is he really the one in need of saving?
Simpleton's never looking within and accepting
The monstrosity is you!
Self loathing your projection

Poor souls imperfections are of the flesh
Yet he doesn't hide or seek sympathy
He's just looking for acceptance and company
Though your impairment is less evident
callous, cowardly, slanderer's
Finding obscurity within a crowd

Not speaking out on behalf of this poor vagrant's life
Afraid you'll be next in line to be put out on display
Detracting from your own demons
So let there be bloodshed, as long as it's not yours

I wouldn't be so sure loyalty's often fickle
And moods so frequently change
Next time it may just be you carried over friends heads
And being tied to a stake
