A Valentine Card

Valentine-

The love I feel for you is like a burning flame
Nothing could ever taint it, not even a torrential rain
It's genuine and true like not feeling you ever knew
You're what I live for, there's nothing I wouldn't give for you

You make my emotions run wild
When I'm with you I'm as playful as a child
I can be so many things, but best of all myself
I never feel insecurity it's hidden upon a shelf

I feel so beautiful when I'm with you
I feel there's nothing I couldn't do
I like the former me you helped me rediscover
For so many years she's been under cover

Never allowing true feelings to be known
For fear of being hurt
whenever any one got too close
There would be a red alert!

I like you close, I hope that's where you'll stay
By my side and in my heart never far away
I just wanted to let you know how dear you are today
And wish you the very happiest of Valentines Days
