Strangled Planet

Strangled Planet

A Poem by Michelle Gent
"

An inspirational poem About wanting to make the world a better place for future generations

"
Strangled Planet-

I can't fix the world
I can't put a band aid on the globe
Expecting a changing result

I can't chase a rotating ball of gas
Dangling from a cord in space
Blue, green and sprinkling

I try to jump on tippy toes and grasp
With gauze and tape in my hand
But I can't reach, it's out of arms length
I try to cheer others on to do the same

With positive attitude and mantras
meditating, massaging
Passing along snippets
of data and information
Sometimes it's draining

I know I can't do it on my own,
but I try I try
For the love of my daughter
and future generations I try
Knowing it's for the greater good

No I can't change the world all alone
Yet if I try and inspire, one person at a time
Through the mind set of pay it forward
Many like minds coming together, connecting

Chain linked hands
standing up for what they believe
Forming a line, a starting line
Now that's one line I wouldn't mind waiting on

I cross my fingers and heart
Holding my breath and pray
In time, in time people will connect

I have goose bumps, this is fantastic and so true. The problem is to many let themselves
believe they can't do it themselves and give up, you said it one at a time, it's not a overnight
fix, we need to realize this life is a gift from God and we are
obligated to treat it as the precious gift it is. It's the least we
can do for our KING!!! Thanks for sharing and b-blessed, all glory belongs to God!!!
If you have time, I dedicate many pieces to positive, uplifting, spiritual, messages!
