Skeletal RemainsA Poem by Michelle Gentaches and pains. Bitching and Moaning
Skeletal Remains-
Panes in a glass Veins in a leaf Pains inside me Arteries, veins, blood Pumping, pulsating Navigating rivers Rivers take leaves Over ripples Over falls I fall in pain I strain IN desperation, in grief Grieve for the body That once was Leaves turn brittle, crumble So too, does my skeletal frame Sinew fall with gravity Fall with time Leaves drop and scatter One by one Just like my family tree Leaves too Will soon be gone © 2015 Michelle GentAuthor's Note
