yesterday's dominion

a poem about inner reflection

fragments of yesterday's dimensions diminish.

parts of the whole no longer add up to a sum.

waves of hope find remnants upon the cornered shadows.

winding down toward the inner core of truthe, a picture of yesterday finds its way upon the surface.

today is a day of acknowledgement, a time to look at things with clarity.

the true reflection in the mirror knows its own inward disfigurement.

what was hope is now a negation.

what was lost remains gone.

an inward abyss of time that has not unfolded into perfection.

the present state is of no clarity, for it leads to confusion.

the night arrives with no sincerity.

the morning arrives with patience and a sense of promise.

when the windows of time clarify the undertones of hopes past gone, the wings of

night will no longer resemble such a dark shadow.

a poem about loss and inner reflection of dealing with what has been gone. a poem about dealing with loss of hope when truthe remains to be dealt with.
