TheWiltedWands Of Sllepy Hollow

A Poem by michele vera

Upturned Twisted-Tangerine Spineyed

Trees Twisted into an Upturned

Knott Of Oblivion into

The Centering Point Of

The Past Lorde's Harnessing

Grip.

Blue-Greened Shades Of Needling

Grass Rip Out The Sun's

Piercing Glare From The

Shadowing Barkof Past's

NostalGia.

The HorseMan Heeeded The Call

and RanTowards The Most

Northern-Star.

The Hilled Forests Of SleepyHollow

No Longer House aDefanged

Prince.

Lost Dreamsand Unheard CriesNo

Longer Lingerwithin the Abysseof

TimeLessNess.

This Little Townsetit'sHarshest

StoneFree intoNewNess.

Time can be of the Essence.

However Now is Strictly of

The Healing Changes Of The

Tides Redirecting.

Nothing is ever totally Lost,

it jjust simply gets Redirected

into a Higher Knowing.

Enjoyed the idea of the poem and the language used but While I liked the fast paced poem I felt that perhaps at times it should've been slowed down and it caused it to run on too much. overall I enjoyed it :)
