Song Of The Nightingale

Song Of The Nightingale

A Poem by michele vera

As Night Arrives with its' Enigmatic

Unfolding, A Nightgale Sits Perched

Upon the Highest Tree.

It Patiently awaits for that Moment to

Arrive, for it is at that Moment it can sing

its' Song Of Love.

The Trees Echo as The Nightingales' Enchanted

Anthem Circulates throughout The

Night Air.

Its' Song is True, Its' Song is Full

Of Unfolding Love.

It Sings' Its' Song Until The Sun

begins to set into the Night Sky.

First Ray of Light, The Nightingales'

Melody Starts to Gradually Subside.

A Nocturnal Bird so inspired by

the Darkened Haze Of Night.

Its' Eloquence is like Clockwork.

Every Night It anticipates the Nighttime,

so it can Serenade The Night Blanketed

Sky.

As Day Arrives, its' Fervulent Song

Remains Permanently Imprinted

Deep Within the Branches Of Each

Tree.

Its' Enchanting Song Never Ceases

To Promote Such Beauty.

I'm not qualified enough to critique your work, so I'm just going to say what I feel. The best part of your poetry is uniqueness. Every one of them is like a story, with themes that I have come to adore over the ages. The only thing I can say is, why the hell have I not seen your work before.

They sit right outside my window.

You're an amazing poet. I like this -
As Day Arrives, its' Fervulent Song
Remains Permanently Imprinted
Deep Within the Branches Of Each
Tree.
Its' Enchanting Song Never Ceases
To Promote Such Beauty.

For me it has two meanings, one - the song of the bird is imprinted within the branches of the tree, leaving a timeline permanently engraved in its history, two - the song of the sunrise is imprinted in the tree, just the same as the song of the bird

We all leave an imprint in all things, and leave a lasting impression long after we are gone.

Other than a couple typos, I think this was over all a wonderful piece. You have a lot of untapped potential! :)
