fallen into darkness

someone i pushed away, someone i cared for a lot, i pushed away, cut the connection for her sake

i've fallen again,

fallen into the darkness,

i let you slip,

and you left,

smiles are dead,

emotion is dead,

ties are cut,

in a way this is my fault,

i am a sinking ship,

pulling down everything with me,

i cut it all,

for your good,

i wished not to hurt you,

because you mean a lot,

so i messed it all up,

i pushed it away,

so you wouldn't feel the pain of me leaving you,

i also did this because you didn't want to get attached,

so when you said that i tried harder,

when i spoke to you i could tell what i was doing worked,

 i felt horrible,

i hope you're happier this way,

and i hope your life is better because of this,

but as for me,

i will stay in the darkness,

helping others,

as well as looking for my own answers,

i have not found my happiness yet,

looks to me like i might not find it for a long time...........

Yes i did enjoy this very much
and i can relate to this story as well.
I have a friend who tried to shut me out
as well, he didnt want to hurt me but
it hurt me to know that he was trying to cut me out of his life.
Instead of cutting me out of his life it made me want to
struggle and keep on insisting for him to let me help
him out with his problems and im so happy to say that
i am still part of his life. Don't give up so easily i'm sure that person
will want to say apart of you life too.
