corporate zombies

i am corporate zombie

under every one else

i have no brain

i have no heart

i am a puppet

doing as im told

and never thinking

i have ideas

im smart

no one listens

and no one cares

i am just another worker

who is paid to shut his mouth and work

just work

but im am tired of this

tired of being

a nobody

i can be great

i can make it work

and i will not be a slave

to the system

i will be my own person

ill win and now is the time

now is the place

i will keep my ideas in nolonger

this is it i must make my stand

and do what i want

Passionate and emotional. Defiance to answer to "the man" drives us to independence. It can be a long trip. The piece is insightful as to the strengths of the writer. A person who is strong willed and upwardly mobile and resists suppression. Nicely done. You might enjoy my piece "Big Man Up Front" and "The Office". Very nice..
