Judgement Day

Judgement Day

A Poem by Michael Oliver

Swung -turn- glared - into a  seat

Happen so - glance and hormone utteranced

Reason  gone -  no encoding or ignoring

A deadpan turmoil of tranced fancy

A barn balanced on the horizon

Being a limit at the  limit
A hover roof - an open door

A short expression from occupant air

Winds inbred respite - seeks - finds - loses
Icon constant - in scenery of yearning

- ticked -upon the passage of landscape -

- accepted - declined - a presence of survival

After Eden - watch - rooms stood alone
Fixed points chatting about their decay
Crumble until and under their shadow
The rubble - voiceless - amongst the grass

in honesty, i can't get a grasp on any fixed point here, I seem lost among too many thoughts for me to grasp.
But I do get an immense sense of anxiety and feel trapped within a storm of thoughts. Perhaps even regrets.
I do not believe the title is influencing my thoughts, but i do se a relation.
Empathy .....being drawn,, giving freely

Michael Oliver,
This piece is very sobering. Passage by passage leading to last second transfers of life and thought to simply where the life process then lyes dormant. Went through it twice and I think that I liked the second paragraph the best; A barn balance on the horizon, Being a limit at the limit , ' A hover roof- an open door, A short expression from occupant air' The whole thing was actually an exercise in interesting curious thought.
