Spring ClarityA Poem by Michael OliverLooking out of my window one morning
And the song unwinds it’s melody The sky - listens - a silent spread Hovered in embrace - the sunlit world Leisures a roundness as trunks reform This window dialogue - beyond stripes - allows Passing time to balance stillness -waiting Sitting - my confinement - exposes in enclosure The stirring of a latent expectation Of soft tropes and innocent warmth Threads are woven strand by strand Layered breath upon layered proposition - proof Thought discovers the mirror - Spring© 2016 Michael OliverReviews
