The Autumn Sonata - third movement - Scherzo

The Autumn Sonata - third movement - Scherzo

A Poem by Michael Oliver

The door opens - noise - a women's party - noise
Carriage of selfies - Asti - white phones - cheap sparkles
Heimsringla Saga - the snake eats through the cheek
"Two hours of this " landscapes blur - sun shines

Brighton station - 'curved' - a striped piano - crazed virtuoso
Blue spaces - the grey mind opens - reflects ozone
Off the white horizon - down - past French Pastries
And the bestest Waterstones known to sapient man

- hello ecology - 'Green' - Photo? - and thumbs up - again
Again? - aesthetics man - Pooh roaches - winks and nods
Midnight nocturnes - relayed in the days bright glare
Hands shaken - a nice game - aha - the sea!

Bucket - fees a cafe itinerant's songs - breeze borne
Silhouetted - wreck of summers gone - float the air
Across pebbles - the priority lens - stares - at vanity?
This walk on water - white rippled with intimacy
- indistinct - the melting pier - cloud hovered - blue angled
Turquoise stairs - a flow of  polka dots - angels
- red bow lips - dark glasses - a Cupie scan
Observes this game  - and flowers - in my turning

i think of the serpent in the garden, the tempting of eve, her tempting of adam....
maybe our downfall will be a woman...but damn, even with their selfies, parties, flow of polka dots,

they are our angels...and those red bow lips that will kiss us into heaven...in my turning, the women will save me like a flower...press me to her chest...keep me warm....i am a crazed virtuoso...and there are blue spaces...but life is grey areas...and i think women help us sapient men deal with those areas of life. They make the sun shine...when our landscapes get blurred...

i really like this....and it reminds me that as much as i am okay alone...it would nice to have a woman beside me, when my leaves are turning...

they drive us sane and insane all at once.
