A Poem by Michael Oliver
"

a nostalgia piece

"
Winter casts remains - in February's chill
A shiver - tremors of dad's leaving
Assumpta est -bathing his final delirium
Trapped reminiscent in a Palestrina motet

All the moulding and the holding
His life of a certainty lived
A freedom captive in everyday duty
A world open - his world closes

At my looking and my asking
Our lives celebrant in this passage
Inspiration - my pencil - his final mask
Now - to each his own - breath

'Johnny' ' Johnny ' abrupt the cliche critiques
A pictured field - real or lost
A drama - plays ownership - whose possession?
A call for a final survival

'I will see you tomorrow - goodbye.'
A kiss - soon - his dead hand
Death warm - my words - unheard - unshared
In tomorrow with his forever presence

No I couldn't understand the details and circumstance. seems most of your writes are written almost in code.
Like you want to share and release some of the deep pain your heart is bearing all alone.
Yet the pain is so much that you can barely speak it. So you must do by being obscure only half or partly telling.
However there are strong hints left, Enough breadcrumbs to 99 % take a good guess.
for what it's worth. I know you have the eyes to see and understand, but the heart works differently it still only understands the emotions or good or bad.. There's no middle with the heart.Only the mind can rationalize it.
I think you will be just fine and will overcome the hearts sorrows and you will find understanding that the heart can accept.
Keep writing my friend.............. Write till the colors run dry then sketch some more :-)

I like capturing the world in various mediums for a long time I was a painter, but more recently I realize the same imperative can be used to direct words as well as brushes. more..
