From the black notebok

From the black notebok

A Poem by Michael Oliver
"

three random verses refined from jottings taken on friday

"
1

She walks - rocking with her stick
Not as once she was - even
Entering the dark door - onto black
Another funeral attended - another days waiting

2

The white coat bears unsolicited witness
An occasion to emerge - still isolated
Among huddled helpers - idly observing her
Watching this crippled transfer - into freedom

3

Out the alley - from Mall throng
White houses - a forgotten assertion - there
A way of life - bourgeoise simple
Confident - spoken from a lost republic

About
I like capturing the world in various mediums for a long time I was a painter, but more recently I realize the same imperative can be used to direct words as well as brushes. more..
