a sort of love poem

a sort of love poem

A Poem by Michael Oliver
"

written when i was under theinfluence of the Chinese

"
sweet winter affair clear the winter affair
I hunted another face then in season
spring space spring clouds sunlight on water
now with summer tints the game rots
days hum blue idleness green crops yellow
I look across fields dust old tracks
falling upon your wood sunlight through leaves
I am dappled again naked the roar

"a sort of love poem"
Michael Oliver,
The title speaks to the undulations of the natural seasons within life experience. This experience within learning and growing in love possibility.
I see colors of decomposition then new growth from it.
"now with summer tints the game rots'days hum blue idleness green crops yellow"
Newness and exhilaration:
"falling upon your wood sunlight through leaves
I am dappled again naked the roar"
Quite a poem! It's neat to see your thought processes within.
blessings,
Kathy

Michael, it amazes me that you are abli to respect form and still be so fluid. These words were like.spring water running over me - refreshing and rejuvinating me. Your poetry sings in my heart and makes me soar and roar.

I like capturing the world in various mediums for a long time I was a painter, but more recently I realize the same imperative can be used to direct words as well as brushes. more..
