The first write in my Valentine's Collection. 2022. A Sonnet.

1 ….. Valentine Thoughts.

A super crown sings of dreams in the night, 

may love’s words touch your heart with deepest love, 

love’s journey shall ever be a delight, 

our passion shall sing in the star’s above.

Passions and desires are gently flowing, 

let this sonnet of love forever progress, 

forever in glory, you are glowing, 

in the joys of love we find tenderness.

Sing of moments divine in love’s own scene, 

imparting visions only seen in dream, 

in a mind where love is ever the queen, 

together we shall dance in a moonbeam.

As visions of love flow within my mind,  I see the beauty of my queen of kind.

Isn't it ironic what we say in our poetry is so hard to put a voice to in person?

Poets write it better than saying it.
So I would just walk up to her and say, "Here, I wrote this for you" and then run. I'd be too scared of her reaction. I don't think you would need to be, Mike.

Hi Jacob, I agree with you that it is hard to say in public what we put into our poetry. At least, if it was said, it would be more wondrous said by moonlight and stars. I have once done the "Here, I wrote this for you." I won't tell you how that turned out. I was young. We do find it easier to write it than to say it. Sometimes though, the words have to be said. I love your gracefully flowing words, which reflect the flowing heart of your message. I love how you tackle the testy sonnet effortlessly. But to be starting your VALENTINE COLLECTION already is total flim-flam. I mean, I can wait until the last week in September to launch our Halloween explosion.
