8 ….. Dark Majesty.

My love, in darkest dreams I come

To you, I bring the darkest power

I lift you from your bed of peace

Now, my love, I take you to share peace

To share the peace and joy of velvet night

I take you to the crypt of destiny

There, you shall join with me

Where cold is all around

You shall see the heart of darkness

Our night once more begins

 I Hold you gently as I walk down the stairs

You lie in state, when in my arms

Down, down into graveyard dark

Solemn peace awaits us

My beloved, when we reach our goal

you shall know dark majesty.

I was thinking of the Troggs' song, "Love is all around" and how nicely the vampirish version would be "Cold is all around" when love is at stake.
I wonder what it would be like to be a vampire and know that we would never die...no real closure that way, but eternal love for sure.

Very atmospheric, creepy, cold, and so very dark. You do this genre so well. Not alot of light here Mike. Not sure I would want to be a vampire. Great to read, not to experience :) Have a good Sunday.

I guess I always write as the darkness as if it is light is because I am usually writing as the creature of the night. This creature of the night was created by God and was of the light until some of his own wanted to create Daughters and Sons of theit own, what we call Vampires.
