This poem is very sweet. I love the honesty of the lines, especially ones like "Thank you for keeping me calm" and "Thank you for giving it your all." These aren't just empty words - you can tell that there are stories and genuine emotions behind each line. Keep up the great work! Your mom is going to love this!

I love this poem, and I will say again a mother would love to have this from their child. I do agree with JayG about S2L3. Maybe something like, "I am who I am because of you," or something along that line. Clarify that line and this poem is golden.

I just read this one and your mothering love poem and I loved them both! They both clearly show that you deeply love your mom and I don't know your mom but they will probably make her cry. Very sweet and very loving. I think I like this one better than mothering love, simply because there is something truly special about this one. I would make this piece either your first or your last in the series because it speaks profoundly. Just my two cents though :)

A bit treacly, but such things usually are. Prosody looks reasonable.

I have a quibble with S2L3, in that it seems to say she speaker is self contained (I am who I am so don't try to change me), but then L4 says it's all mom's doing.
