Broken SoulA Poem by Michaela MoerkeDrowning in fear, Drowning in hope, Drowning in sorrow Drowning to death
A gasp for breath
Lost the shallow A ravine of death Heart is hollow Spiders in the mind A swift escape This death is kind Street of life will reshape The mint waves roll These thoughts are scattered It was once whole Now it is beaten and battered When you are dying Needless for breathing There is no point After this pitiless beating A final request Succeed your role Do your best Drown my soul
