The Sunset

Tonight when I walked deeper into the woods, I saw the most beautiful thing in my life. I saw the natural world in its entirety, like I see in your eyes. I saw the beauty of life and death in the trees, I saw the infinite blue of the sky and the water, the undying light of the sun, and in that light and also undying, I saw love. In the clouds, I saw hardship trying to dim the sun, but the light and the love still shine through. I saw the green of the leaves, always dying in the winter and reborn in the spring. I heard life all around me, in the bugs and the birds and the squirrels. I saw choice in the branches growing off of one another, a never-ending chain of yes's and no's, of lefts and rights, of one person or another. In the wind, I found emotion and love, sweeping one off their feet. I saw the world, like I see in your eyes.

This is a nicely flowing metaphor.. great feelings of finding light through reality! The ability to see another person's view is quite hard.. you have to really get to know them and what makes them... well them. You find love in this person who has given you a vision... this is really, really deep. Thank you for sharing! =)

How so very beautiful! I love how you described nature and allowed it to have a relationship with love. A very touching writing. Very well done.
