A Poem by Michael Hess
"

I came up with a nice song. I freestyled the words and liked what came out. And the rest of the night (I was at a party), I just freestyled about my friends in the same song. But I won't write those parts.

"

I left this town so long ago.

Where I'm headed I don't know,

But still I'm movin' on.

Where did I go wrong?

Been alone for so long,

And now again I'm gone.

Hey, stranger,

you're a danger

To any eyes that fall upon you.

You shine like the sun,

You're a flame that can't be tamed.

And all I wanted was to know your name.

It's back to square one,

All these things,

They can't be undone.

It's not over

Til it's over.
