The Colors of You...

The Colors of You...

A Poem by Michael G

You smiled...
as you said
"that color looks good on you."

Returning the smile
I offered that I thought another color
would look great on me...
the exact same tone
as your skin.

I can see
your hands roaming
across my chest.
Softly circling
here and there...
moving this way,
then that way.
Searching new places
that make me
catch my breathe,
and smile.

I love watching...
feeling...
your hands
explore me.
From the softness of you
lightly touching my face
to you just resting
and gently patting me
on my butt.

Both feel natural...
both feel comfortable...
Both showing how completely
at ease you are with me...
and I you.

Now,
you sliding up to rest yourself
on top of me,
the contrast of your tan lines
against my tanned chest,
the smile you send me
captures me
with the love implied...
and understood.

The cascading blond
of your hair...
the sparkling blue
of your eyes...
even the red
on your fingernails and toenails
are all colors
I love surrounding me.

I could get used
to wearing your color on me.
I could get used
to knowing it's warmth
surrounding me.

I think my button down
dress shirt
will just have to stay
in the closet for awhile...
unless you use it later
while fixing breakfast.
