Who was it?

Who was it?

A Poem by misha

where did this come from

this hatred and anger

why does it haunt us

why does it grab us in our darkest hours

or is it us who seeks it

when once we believed in love

and fairytales

once when we were children

once when we had hope

what happened to us

to once venture into the world

with hope and happiness

that filled our hearts

to return as souless creatures

 walking the earth

as if all that happiness

was drained

and crulty took its place

when did we become engulfed

in the shadows

and become puppets for the dark

who was it

that let us become heartless

and scared of the world

was it our parents

for leaving us

to defend ourselfves

or was it our teachers

for telling us college was all

we had to prepare for

no

it was neither of them

it was our darkest enenmy

the one that forgot

who we once were

it was the one thing

that took away our silver lining

it

was

Us

Oh! Gotta agree...Filled with wisdom, Micayla...Anger and hatred are something that we hate to feel yet it just comes on your way as you face your deepest feelings...
