I'll get through because of you

When I was young

I used to believe

everything was fun

that life was just a game

one that  I never thought I was to blame

I did what I wanted

not caring at all

untill I began to notice

with all the wrong I did

There was something more

something big

There was God

and even though I knew about him

I didn't truly do all I could

to be good to him

Some things happen

that can never be undone

but now I see

that all I did wrong

led  me to God

led me to a closer

relationship

with my father

I noticed that all I did wrong

was forgiven

and I cried and pleaded

for help on my knees

and he answered me

he showed me a better life

one I will follow for all of eternity

untill the day he comes

to rescue us

because just a year ago

the lord helped me see

that I am tuly a christian

and that I love him

100%

and I wanted to say
I am sorry

for all the things I did

when I was neive

and just a child

because I have made mistakes

ones i'm not proud of

but because of you Lord

I found a way

before it was too
