Lead me in the right direction

i was lost

in a world i didn't know

i needed help

i needed security

anything that gave me hope

and I was suddenly guided

though the hard

and rough times

that came my way

you lead me though

the dark bitterness

and hatred of what

i thought was

this world

you showed me

that i had strength

to overcome

my sadness

you made everything better

all i did was pray

and lord you answered

to feel the warm embrace

and to know i was safe

even the little things i asked

of you

you never denied me

All those problens

i cried about at night

they left

and now everything is okay

your love

is never ending

for us

and so is mine for you

forgive me and them 

of what we did

still nieve and childish

guide us and show us

that we can be better

you showed me lord

in a moment

of my weakness

the light shone through the dak

and i could breath again

because of the greatness

that is my God

for you are my savior

and I love you

and I wrote this piece

to say thank you

and its because of you Lord

that i now walk around

with a smile on my face

and know that my fears are gone

and that you have taken them away

Okay my only comment is that I think you should edit 'god' to 'God' and 'lord' to 'Lord':) This is a beautiful and heart felt piece. I think we can all relate to this. Very nice piece:)

I love this it's so true and meaningful and as the bible says, "Acknowledge him in all thy ways and he will direct your path." That scripture sums up everything. great write! ^^
