The loss of my innocence

The loss of my innocence

A Poem by misha

The day I met you

was the day i knew

I could love you

The sweetness of your voice

The calmness that took over me

when I looked at you

You were my love

my one and only

Yes indeed

my one and only

for a long time

You tricked me

played with my emotions

You were in a wold of games

and I was your conquest

Your character took on

a mind of its own

Now when I look at you

I see what you did

A slap

A scream

A quiver

A rape

a loss of innocence

a mixture of emotion and torment.. well written, structure was good format was simple, clean write. I liked it a lot. Had a twist that built up and totally toss and turned the emotions in the piece which I appreciate :) good job!

Thanks!
oh... this is a tragic piece:( Again good emotions but I think that the focus of this poem is on the person and not so much on the loss of innocence (was this your intention?) Nice piece:)

an honest look at unrequited love, how one chases the other and can feel tricked. The use of short sentences again proves useful and powerful :)
good job again! :)

A powerful poem about a difficult and heartbreaking subject. Written well and sensitively. I think it should be: "You were in a world of games and I was your conquest."
