Learning How To Survive

I have recently been inspired by some very courage writers, to express my pain from abuse as a child through healing poetry. Thank you DiamndnRough and Arie. This is my first post of poetry.

Learning to express

the memories

I tried to oppress.

 

The pain I tried

to hide,

Is still left in my mind.

 

Today is a surprise.

The hidden secrets

I no long keep inside.

 

I am now a survivor

and my life is revived.

There is no greater sin that man can commit , as inflicting sexual abuse on a child, as a matter of fact.......any type of abuse is not exceptable. It never ends well and years of guilt and low self esteem live on with victims for a life time. I do know that talking it out and getting the anger and frustration out in the open, helps the healing process. I am sorry that you have had to deal with this, the more you write about it and express your emotions, the better you will feel, don't ever blame yourself for this, throw that guilt right out the window. Keep writing those poems.
