The New Kid

I know a kid who recently committed suicide, and so I wrote this for him.

You're the new kid, in your new skin,
Trying to find your way back home.
Up the stairs to the gate, you sadly walk alone.
You're the new kid, waiting at heaven's gate.
Fear builds up inside your soul as you wait
for them to welcome you in from out of the cold.
He'll embrace you with open arms and tell you a story you've never been told.
'Cause you're the new kid, and he wants to show you how to live again.
You're the new kid, in love with heaven.

It definitely is painful and hurtful, for both the victim and everyone that truly cares about them. It's such a heart breaking situation. Thank you for taking the time to read and review it.
