Without You

Without You

A Poem by Mia C.

I can’t stop remembering your eyes that spoke the words your lips could not,
I can’t forget how you made my stomach feel as if it was tied into a knot.
The sun once shined and my skies were once blue,
but since you left, my life has been dreadful without you.
My world has faded to gray, my red heart has turned black,
you promised me you’d stay, but you left and never came back.
Now the memories we shared haunt me like a ghost,
I guess this is what happens when you’re the one who cares the most.
