Field of Dead Wishes

Field of Dead Wishes

A Poem by Mia C.

I pass a field of dandelions,

such a beautiful sight, one may say.

But, I just turn my head and walk away.

What a beautiful field it may be to you,

but to me it’s a field of dead wishes that never will come true.

The title alone would have been enough, but the rest is great too!

Thank you so much!! I'm glad you love it. :)))
There is much going on in this short poem. It spans many years, from a child's wishes to an adult's remembrances and resentments. Well done, Mia C.
