The love is deadA Poem by mia2014A poem about love and the loss of it
Fear in her heart led her, sleuth-like, to fear in her head... Untill:
"The love is dead, the love is dead", astonished, she said, "and it's not coming back anymore!" I heard it had set sail for the ocean, On the last south-westerly breeze, And my shattered heart has been mended, put back together and made strong again, By the spark of the fire kindled by the doctor, with the heart made only from gold. "So, goodbye would-be lover (if misfortunes had played their part)", She waved cheerfully from the shoreline, And not a single tear from her eye did she shed, because, "The love is dead, the love is dead!" Truly astonished, she said.
