if i close my eyes i will miss to much

i dont want to miss a sun rise

i dont want to miss the birds singing good morning just out side my window

i dont want to miss my friends growing in to who they where meant to be

i dont want to miss the mess ups

the break ups 

the love

the fights because in the end it makes all of us stronger

not for one moment do i want to close my eyes

i dont want to miss my sister getting married

my friends needing to be picked up from the ground they fell on

the boys or girls who crush there heart

i dont want to miss my moment to swoop in and make it all better

i dont want to miss the laughs

the tears

the dreams

the plans

these might be small things that might seem to be nothing but to me its everything

its my job

its my life

its my meaning

sure i get tiered and i want to give up but every time i do

my friends pick me up

put me on my feet

remind me that im special

tell me im amazing and show me how much they love me

if i miss that then i have nothing

how can i close my eyes when there is so much that im going to miss in my life
