A Poem by mia

a suffer surfs
a mother births
a father sits and waits
a daughter born
full of scorn
and hearts are filled with love
a mother sighs
daughter cry's
a father by her side
unknown future
careless past
memories that will last
hurtful words
feeling cursed
daughter grows
father knows
that soon the day will come
mother sits
hand in hand they pick
the perfect wedding dress
a lover waiting
a daughter shaking
a father to catch her tears
a mother waits
a father faints
and the cycle starts again

I love the cyclical nature of this poem! The short, staccato lines really move the narrative along. Just a nitpicky spelling note, "cry's" should be "cries". Other than that, a beautifully crafted piece!
