Arbiter

Arbiter

A Poem by mhylands

Wicked séance in foreign tongues
Feasting upon the terror and dismay
Disfigured and unrecognizable
Living puppet drained of its soul
Arbiter, neither alive nor dead
Heir to misfortune and indignation
Sealed writs of passage
Succumb to the black flames
Frozen embrace, catalytic incinerator
Bastardized and abandoned in shame
Sacrificial rites, droning chants
Blood gift, spectral stasis
Entropic harbinger dissipating in dissonance
Filtered out from all remembrance
