Insignificant

Insignificant

A Poem by mhylands

Latent significance unable to awake from hibernation
Instead, dormant as to leave an empty husk
Lending to a misanthropic guise donned
Ill-tempered manifestation destined to remain
Misunderstood mission to bring any semblance
Uninhibited free fall and wings broken
Malignant decadence from a temptuous mind
Terminal crusade in a phantom spectrum
Astounding, cause and effect of dismissal
To caress prominence in light of salvation
Escaping this dimension of sentience
Abating altruism ascended of fantasy
A celebate coercion instituting false sanity
