Respite

Respite

A Poem by mhylands

Let crimson seas flood the gates

The subjects of excommunication have risen
This reign of tyrany will be torn apart
Ripped limb from limb and snapped skeleton
Gouged eyes force fed to a mutilated tongue

Were you so blinded to the degradation
Deluded to believe we would idly comply
There is nothing veiled by your manipulation
To benefit us to simply stand by

Corrupted, distrusted
The lambs you controlled
Refuse to be consoled
Corrupted, distrusted
The cracks splinter and toll
An insatiable blood frenzy

Let crimson seas flood the gates
Cleanse the vile filth chaste
Prolong the sinew dissects
Amass the decrepit piles to stagnate

Confounded by your audacity
To deem our every necessity
You instigated this atrocity
Rendering ravenous respite

You are fucked, my friend
