Enslaved

Enslaved

A Poem by mhylands
"

Enslaved

"

F**k this hell, numb this pain

It’s never enough, I can’t hide my shame

Light my darkness, kill this madness

Shine a light, it swells up again

The shadows of my actions consume all the happiness

Leaving me dead inside, f**k, I can’t stand this

Turn the gears, the cycle goes on

I feel I am a slave to my past

An unending torment eats away

Like a cancerous disease…

Thoughts just add to the burden

I have to submit and obey

The shadows of my actions consume all the happiness

Leaving me dead inside, f**k, I can’t stand it

Slaughter the men, and remove the stem

Watch the blood pour, and feed on the remains
