SMXII - VII

SMXII - VII

A Poem by mhylands
"

SMXII covers a series of writings I did during my drunken summer of 2012. Often, they were related to love, which is a difficult subject for me. When drunk, I wrote in my little black journal.

"

Unknown, we skepticize a meaning

Unborn, we fashion a name

Untold, we create a story

Unbound, we destroy a god

Privileged and free we are the

Monsters of our own nightmares

Wicked and deceitful we are the

Untouchables of a new world

Unspoken, we give a sound

Untrusted, we dictate a crime

Uncaring, we force a truth

Until, our judgment has been passed

Empowered to decide the laws

Sentencing the pure and serene

As simply a godless entity

Bringing about countless tribulations

Unforgiven, we condemn a man

Unfulfilled, we devour a nation

Unrelenting, we slaughter a dream

Unsung, we become a legend

The leaving is just the beginning

To our own telling of lies

Giving us the right to rule

Over a decayed society in hell
